Also known as the State Grant Program, this program provides non-repayable grants to first-time undergraduate students who attend North Dakota's public, private and tribal colleges.
Amount
North Dakota State Grants award up to $2,750 per academic year. Students may reapply each year by completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
Who is Eligible?
North Dakota high school graduates or GED recipients who meet campus admission requirements and enroll as fulltime students in North Dakota colleges or universities. Programs of study must be for at least one academic year.
How to Apply
The only application needed is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Deadline for priority consideration is April 15. Please note that the priority deadline here is only for the ND State Grant Program. It may not be the same as the priority consideration deadline for other financial aid awards at individual colleges and universities.
