Respiratory Virus Care & Recommendations

As respiratory illness season approaches, it is important to take steps to protect yourself and those around you. Viruses such as Covid-19, influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) can cause respiratory illness. Staying current with your vaccines is your best protection.

Flu shots are offered during seasonal clinics each fall at NDSCS Wahpeton. Additionally, members of the Wildcat community can receive their flu shot from area resources

Covid-19 home tests are available from the U.S. Government at COVIDtest.gov as of September 2024.

Isolation & Quarantine Guidance

  • Please visit CDC for isolation and quarantine guidance. 

It is important to:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water.
  • Get all recommended vaccinations.
  • Clean your spaces regularly.
  • Stay home when sick.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes.
  • Contact your medical provider as needed.
