CboysTV Life Wide Open Scholarship Information
Motorsports and comedy superstars, CBoysTV, have generously donated to create the “Life Wide Open Scholarships”, which will support powersports and car enthusiasts as they make their passion their future career at NDSCS.
We are thrilled they chose NDSCS for this partnership!
Scholarships are now in place for Powersports Technology, Auto Body Repair and Refinishing Technology, and Automotive Technology. Details below!
Scholarship Requirements and Details
- Full-time, 1st-year student enrolled in Auto Body Repair and Refinishing Technology, Automotive Technology, or Powersports Technology.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Scholarship paid over 2 years as long as the student is continuously enrolled in one of the eligible programs listed.
*Students apply for this scholarship by applying for admission into one of the qualifying programs (listed above) at NDSCS.edu/Apply. Students will complete the NDSCS Scholarship Application through that process and will have the opportunity to be awarded one of the CboysTV Life Wide Open Scholarships once enrolled in and attending classes at NDSCS. This application is not a guarantee that a student will qualify for or be awarded one of the CboysTV Life Wide Open Scholarships.
Scholarship opportunities in the first year (2024-2025) include 3 (three) $5,000 scholarships awarded to separate students from the qualifying programs.
Which Programs Qualify?
CboysTV is a motorsports and comedy collective, based in Minnesota, that gained widespread recognition with their powerhouse of content revolving around cars, daring stunts, and entertaining challenges. With an engaging mix of entertainment and thrill-seeking adventure videos, the collective captures the attention of over 5 million followers online across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Snapchat, showcasing a diverse range of land and water vehicles, appealing to automotive enthusiasts.
The six charismatic personalities behind CboysTV include Ben Roth (24), Ryan Iwerks (27 ) CJ Lotzer - (27) Micah Sandman (27) Ken Matthees (28) and Evan Sheff (30), who have built a strong community by showcasing their camaraderie and dynamic banter while engaging in a wide range of out-of-the-box activities. The young entrepreneurs turned their internet fame into a lucrative business, expanding their portfolio with a successful e-commerce site, offering a wide range of products, and podcast Life Wide Open.
Coining the slogan, “Live Life Wide Open,” the Cboys reminds viewers and themselves to make the most of every day and every opportunity they have. Their collaborative spirit and willingness to push boundaries have resonated with a wide audience, contributing to their growing following and influence in the digital space.
