Tuition rates for Dual Credit courses will vary depending on how and where the courses are taught. Tuition is charged on a per-credit basis as determined by the number of college credits awarded for the class.

Below are tuition rates and mandatory fees for the 2024-2025 academic year. These costs are subject to change without notice.

Type of class Tuition/Fees per Credit Description
High School Subsidized $89.43 / credit Classes taught in the high school by instructors who are paid by the high school.
High School Unsubsidized $153.96 / credit Classes taught by instructors who are paid by NDSCS and are delivered via ITV/IVN to the high school.
NDSCS Wahpeton or NDSCS Fargo $153.96 / credit High school students attending classes on the NDSCS Wahpeton or Fargo locations who are taking the course for dual credit.
Online $153.96 / credit Courses taken strictly online.

*Fees per credit include: ConnectND Fee $5.50, NDSA Fee $.04

Example of cost for a 3 credit class:
Subsidized: 3 credits x $89.43 = $268.29
Unsubsidized/Online: 3 credits x $153.96 = $461.88


Bank of North Dakota Assistance

Students who qualify for free/reduced meals at their high school may qualify for tuition assistance for up to 2 dual credit courses per academic year.

Dropping Classes

Students who want to drop one of their Dual Credit classes will do so through CampusConnection
Refunds for dropped classes will be determined according to NDSCS Refund Schedule.
*If you want to drop all of your classes, or the only class you are enrolled in, you will need to notify the Dual Credit Office by emailing NDSCS.DualCredit@ndscs.edu. Include your first name, high school you attend, and what you are requesting.
