Academic Options
The Aviation Maintenance Technology program is designed to prepare students for the many employment opportunities in the aviation industry.
Students are given extensive training and practical experiences in servicing all types of mechanical, electrical and structural systems of airplanes.
Students enrolled in the Aviation Maintenance Technology program study a variety of subjects, including welding, hydraulics, aerodynamics, aircraft drawings, physics, piston and turbine engines, aircraft systems, aircraft structure, electrical and many more. Training facilities are in excellent condition and labs are very well-equipped.
Students graduating from this Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified program are eligible to test for the airframe and powerplant certification upon completion. Graduates' career opportunities in the aviation sector include employment at airlines, fixed base operators, manufacturers, repair stations or general aviation programs.
