North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) students recently earned top awards at the National SkillsUSA Championships held during the National Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC) in Atlanta, Georgia. Four NDSCS students earned the national spotlight for their achievements.

Students from the North Dakota State College of Science received a number of awards at the North Dakota SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference, which was held in Bismarck this spring. By achieving gold medals at the state level, 14 of these students qualified to compete in their respective categories at the national SkillsUSA Championships, which will be held in Louisville, Ky. in June.

NDSCS and Open Road Honda to host Powersports Technology Open House

North Dakota State College of Science and Open Road Honda will host a Powersports Technology Open House on Friday, March 8 at the Open Road Honda dealership, located at 4120 Memorial Highway in Mandan, N.D. The open house will be held from 12-6 p.m. and is open to anyone interested in learning more about a career in Powersports Technology.

During the Powersports Technology Open House, powersports technicians from Open Road Honda will present demonstrations and discuss their careers in the powersports technology field, and representatives from North Dakota State College of Science will be available to discuss the College’s Powersports Technology program, including admission requirements and program curriculum.
