The Health, Physical Education and Recreation department offers a transfer option for students who are interested in careers in health education, physical education, coaching or recreation. The department also teaches wellness and physical activity classes that support most of the College’s academic options.
NDSCS students utilize outstanding recreational facilities, including the Blikre Activities Center and Frank Vertin Field on the campus. These venues include a large arena, an indoor running track, a pool, a weight room, an auxiliary gym, racquetball courts, tennis courts, dance studio, football field and practice fields. Several recreation classes are held at sites off campus during the academic year.
