NDSU Living Options
NDSCS partners with North Dakota State University (NDSU) to allow NDSCS-Fargo students (taking at least six credits) to live on campus at NDSU. A variety of living options are available to NDSCS-Fargo students at NDSU, from apartments to traditional residence hall living – all of which are just a quick walk or bus ride away from NDSCS-Fargo.
NDSU currently has 13 residence halls and numerous apartment options that offer positive living and learning environments. We encourage you to think about adding a Residence Life experience to your program at NDSCS-Fargo.

Amenities
Each living option at NDSU has their own unique features, but as an NDSCS-Fargo student living at NDSU you would have access to amenities like: onsite mail, laundry, events, cable and free video streaming services, rec lounges, study lounges, community kitchen, and Wi-Fi. Residence Hall also provide coinless laundry, hall offices with games/videos/entertainment options, and secure keyless card entrances.
Convenience
There is no need to start your car! NDSU is within walking distance of NDSCS-Fargo; but there is also a MAT bus that will drop you off at NDSCS-Fargo and bike-share stations located throughout the NDSU campus. Roommate matching is available for all living options at NDSU.
Affordability
NDSU housing rates are very competitive when compared with rental rates around NDSCS-Fargo. All utilities are included with the rental rates (with the exception of University Village apartments).
Dining Options
Living at NDSU will provide you with access to several different dining options. Students living in the apartments can also opt-in to having a NDSU dining plan.
Security
All living options at NDSU have secured entries, security cameras, police access, and on-site student and professional staff who are dedicated to supporting you.
Student-friendly Apartment Contracts
NDSU Apartments only require a $200 application fee (applied toward the first month’s rent), each tenant is billed individually, contracts can be as short as a semester, and you can apply for an apartment at any time. NDSU Residence Hall contracts are for the full academic year.
