NDSCS Achieves Record Spring Enrollment for Second Consecutive Year

North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) is celebrating another milestone, reporting record-breaking spring enrollment for the second year in a row. This achievement follows a historic high for Fall 2024, reinforcing the College’s continued growth and appeal. 

According to the official census taken on the 20th instructional day, NDSCS reports a total enrollment of 3,416 students, collectively registering an impressive 37,728 credits. This sustained growth highlights the College’s commitment to providing accessible, high-quality education and workforce training. 

"NDSCS continues to grow, achieving record enrollment for the second consecutive spring semester. This achievement reflects our commitment to providing hands-on education, industry-driven programs, and a student-centered experience,” said President Rod Flanigan, Ph.D. “We are proud to see more students choosing NDSCS as the foundation for their future careers, and we remain dedicated to preparing them for success in the workforce. I want to thank our faculty, staff, and industry partners for their role in making this possible." 

The enrollment figures for Spring 2025 break down as follows:

  • 1,486 full-time students
  • 1,930 part-time students 

The census data also reveals the geographic origins of NDSCS students: 

  • 75.09 percent of students are from 47 counties in North Dakota.
  • 19.32 percent of students come from Minnesota. 

This continued success underscores NDSCS’s reputation as a premier institution for career and technical education. By expanding academic programs and student support services, the College ensures its graduates are well-prepared for the workforce.
