CampusConnection is your secure online portal for managing your student life at NDSCS.
With your User ID and password, you can register for classes, view grades, pay bills, update personal info, and much more—anytime, anywhere. To complete these tasks, visit CampusConnection and look for the appropriate link on the Student Homepage. When you see a caret (▸), click on it to expand and access that link.
What You Can Do in CampusConnection
Here’s a sampling of things you can do in CampusConnection:
- Register for Classes: Plan your schedule, add or drop courses, and view your enrollment dates.
- Check Grades & Transcripts: See your midterm and final grades, plus request official transcripts.
- Manage Finances: View your account balance, make payments, enroll in direct deposit, and access tax forms.
- Update Your Info: Keep your address, phone, and emergency contacts current.
- Connect with Your Advisor: View their contact info and send messages.
- Track Your To-Do List & Holds: See what’s needed to stay on track for registration and financial aid.

Activate Your Account
Set up your NDUS account, NDSCS email, and access to campus systems.
Sign In
- User ID: Firstname.Lastname
- Password: Combination of letters/numbers (case-sensitive).

Register for Classes
Option 1: Schedule Planner
- Go to the Manage Classes tile › Schedule Planner (name may appear as “Class Schedule Planner”).
- Select your term and institution (North Dakota State College of Science).
- Choose filters you care about (campus, instruction mode, days/times you can’t meet).
- Add Courses you plan to take (by subject/number or search).
- Click Generate Schedules to see all combinations that fit your filters.
- Preview a few options; star or select your preferred schedule.
- Click Send to Shopping Cart (or Validate/Send) to push selections into CampusConnection.
- In Shopping Cart, Validate to check for errors, then Enroll. Confirm when prompted.
- Print or save your schedule: My Weekly Schedule › Printer Friendly.
Option 2: Class Search and Enroll (4‑Step flow)
Before you begin:
In Manage Classes, scroll left menu and sign the Financial Obligation Agreement (FOA) for the term.
- Class Search and Enroll › select Term and Institution.
- Search by Class Number (if known) or use Subject/Catalog search.
- Select your section, then proceed through the steps:
- Step 1 – Review Class Selection: Verify days/times, units, location; click Next.
- Step 2 – Preferences (Variable Credits if applicable): If shown, accept defaults or edit; click Accept/Next.
- Step 3 – Enroll or Add to Cart: Choose Add to Shopping Cart; click Next.
- Step 4 – Review and Submit: Click Submit and Yes to confirm.
- Repeat for each course you want (back to Class Search and Enroll).
- Open Shopping Cart, select all classes, click Validate (fix any errors/prereqs/time conflicts).
- Click Enroll › Yes to finish.
- Print or save: My Weekly Schedule › Printer Friendly.
- When finished, use the three dots (⋮) in the upper‑right to Sign Out.
Drop Classes
- Manage Classes tile › Drop Classes tab.
- Check the box next to the class you want to drop.
- Click Drop Selected Classes.
- Review the confirmation screen and Finish Dropping (wording may vary).
- Watch for success/error messages. If an error shows, the class is not dropped.
Financial aid note: Dropping can affect aid and refunds. If unsure, contact Enrollment Services before dropping.
Swap Classes
Manage Classes tile › Swap Classes tab.
- Manage Classes tile › Swap Classes.
- Select the Term.
- Choose the class to drop from your current schedule.
- Enter the Class Number or search for the replacement class you want to add.
- Follow prompts to review; submit the Swap.
- Check the Status field: a ✔ indicates success; an ✖ indicates an error.
- Verify in My Class Schedule.
